A line surveyed by the english astronomers Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon between 1763 and 1767
There are many different cultures rich in history and folklore along the Mason Dixon Line such as the
Amish in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Welsh settled in Delta, Pennsylvania in this historic slate quarry town. Many Irish
and Germans settled in the area along the line. The area is also rich in Indian history such as the Susquehannocks..
Vist the King and Queen seat at Rocks State Park in
Harford County Maryland once the tribal gathering place of the Susquehannock Indians. There are many old
family farms along the trail, orchards and historic and beautiful wineries to visit. We invite you to go on an antiquing adventure
on the Mason Dixon Line
